As many of you know I have a twin sister named Whitney and she was able to come visit me this past weekend in NYC.

Here’s where I took her (chronological order):

Friedman’s Lunch– I first went here with a friend on lunch break and it was so delicious that I’ve taken two other friends there since! With a location in Chelsea Market and one on 32nd St. The close proximity to my apartment makes Friedman’s even more tempting. We had • Sweet Potato Fries  • Shaved Brussel Sprouts • Tomato Soup •

Always good vibes at The Tippler, a dim-lit bar tucked under Chelsea Market. IMG_7549

Friday morning was really sweet. We hit up (probably everyone’s favorite) coffee shop in TriBeCa, Kaffe 1668. We had • Sencha Superior Green Tea with Almond Milk  •Coffee • Fruit Muffin

Needless to say, I’m adding spa days into my schedule from here on out.

Next up was lunch at Chobani, no it’s not just yogurt. SoHo couldn’t be sweeter. More photos on Whit’s Instagram. We had • Fresh Fruit + Granola  • Tomato + Olive Tapenade

We headed uptown via The Highline and back to my apartment to get ready for a night out.

It was necessary to take Whitney to Beauty & Essex..do I really need another reason than that they have pink champagne in the Ladies Room? We had • Eggplant Pizza  •Kale Salad •

Basically we ate…everything

We then hit up The Thirsty Scholar, Diablo Royale, and ended the evening at Windsor.

Saturday was beautiful, we walked up 5th ave to Sarabeth’s  for brunch (WOW) …We had • Vegetable Frittata  • Spinach and Goat Cheese Omlette

…Onto explore Central Park and then back downtown for a shake at Shake Shack. We had a • Chocolate Shake

IMG_7655Saturday night we opted for one of the first restaurants I visited last Easter weekend. The Smith, LES. We had • Salmon • Brussel Sprouts • Ravioli • Pinot Grigio •  Bonarda •

Sunday morning we headed to TriBeCa and Whit was able to experience my amazing church family, Trinity Grace Church TriBeCa, for the first time. I was very thankful for this. Sunday lunch was another run to Chobani, Whitney’s FAVORITE.

Thank you for coming to visit me Whitney! I hope you come back as often as you can.  I love you! #TwisterinNYC

One final thought……:)
